Laurence Chaperon was born on September 8, 1961 in Paris, France.
After 10 years experience as a professional ballet dancer in Paris and at the Opera of Bonn, she studied photography and graduated in a photo agency. Laurence Chaperon has been working as a free photographer since 1994, initially in Bonn and since 1999 in Berlin. Her artistic activity is mainly focused on the Portrait Photography in high quality. Renowned magazines, German as well as international, belong to her numerous clients. Nevertheless, the diversity of her photographic work encloses also the cooperation with individual customers as well as with the public relations and advertisings area.
